My kitchen ceiling has artex patterns on it which I have sanded down the best I can I have put up some thick embossed paper but with the light on you can see the bumps etc.
I know the best way is to have the ceiling plastered but this is costly. Someone has suggested fibreglass wall covering that you buy in 25m lengths as it coverer bumps but I can not see too much about it on the net.
Anyone used this stuff?

I would think it will work out cheaper to re plaster ceiling then use a product like you have mentioned,Also the bumps will show through any covering you apply unless you over board or skim.To replaster ceiling should not cost more then £200 unless it is very large0
