Bokashi composter
Hope there are some experts out there as I am a gardening an compost newbie.
I bought two of these Bokashi kitchen composters, and the first one was filled 3 weeks ago and now needs emptying.
I haven't got a compost heap and don't want to put it to landfill. havn't really got anywhere spare I can dig it in to leave to rot
Was wondering if I could dig it in where my courgettes will eventually grow, or do you think it will be too acidic?
All sugggestions welcomed

I think that a really good idea.
Courgettes like a rich fertile growing base. Before planting out courgettes, it's usual to dig a hole about the depth of a spade and fill the hole with manure, and half rotted compost. You then put back the soil you have taken from the hole to form a mound - and you plant the courgette in the mound.
To be on the safe side, I would line the holes with the bokashi contents, cover the holes with a sheet of newspaper and a small layer of compost and after I've built the mound I would put some black plastic on the area. The black plastic will stop any weeds growing as well as warming up the ground ready for planting out the courgettes.
Hope that helps.0
