Spring bounce

I've noticed an absolutely massive spring bounce where I live (SW London into Twickenham).
Is it just the sunshine or is there something else going on?
Now is definitely the time to sell if you've been waiting. Some places are going for over 2007 prices, even to sealed bids.
I'm finding it all a bit extreme.

It they don't sell in spring they don't sell the rest of the year.
We're in a huge debt mess in the UK. Borrowing almost a big a % of GDP at Greece I think... and they're goosed... (would that be Goosed greece?)0 -
When I say massive I mean that properties I'm viewing are going under offer on the same day as the first viewing. One place on for 350k had 4 offers of asking or over on the first day of viewing.
I think there's an air of recklessness about.0 -
I'm wanting to move down to the West Country and some houses there are sold very quickly. On RM today I was very disappointed to see that a house I really liked is now SSTC-after only 4 days. It's frustrating as I live hundreds of miles away . Glad I just asked the EA for more details and didn't make a long trip to view!0

My mum put her 4 bed house on the market recently and it has sold with completion June 1st at less than 5% from the asking price. This is in a sleepy Dorset town...For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

I have a couple of BTLs in the area (well - Ealing), and the demand in that area is crazy. I bought almost exactly 12 months ago today, and similar apartments in the block are now selling for 15% more than the price I bought in at

15% doesn't surprise me, people are scrambling and paying crazy prices at the moment. Are you tempted to sell?0 -
Weird, I'm looking in NW London and though there are a lot more properties on the market there are damn few selling. I guess it really is location, location, location!0

Must be a SW/W thing. It's really annoying, we'd like to buy but they're selling before we can book in a second viewing.
I'm blaming the sunshine and city bonuses. I can't think of any other reason. They're certainly not bargains!0 -

Frayed not, ModernSlave. They are very lucrative rental properties at the moment, and I hope to pass them on to my daughters when they are a little older (only 2 years old, at the minute)0 -

Which part of NW London are you looking at? If it's LOCATION you're after NW London has some of the finest properties in the country!:money:0
