I need a bigger car

to replace our 306 as there are 3 of us now and probably will be 4 in the next couple of years. I have seen a VW passat 2L TDI in a local dealers, would this be a good family car. WOuld have thought that a 306 was big enough for 3 of you - you just need to plan a bot with the pushchair and car seats you buy

It'd be a good choice however I'd see what you'd get for your money buying VW Approved Used first especially on a car of that age. The warranty provided will be far better.
  • I had a look on VW web site they had nothing under £11K I really don't want to spend that much. I haven't had a look at this one yet would hope to haggle it down to nearer 8 if it is any good. The 306 is just about do able for now, I'm not in a real hurry to spend my cash, that's why it's still hanging around after 10 years, it cost too much in the first place. :money:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
DD has just picked up a C-Max which is spacious, plenty of boot room and easy to get in and out of, and i would imagine would be a lot cheaper to fix than a VW in the event of a problem.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
