Plans for the Weekend

This weekend I hope to hunt out some nettles for this soup fertilizer.

Also, trip to Homebase for more veg compost and maybe some more packs of seeds - sprouts and brocolli at least.

Have also to get some French Beans from dig in into pots as they have all sprouted in the mini propagator.

A lot of the tomatoes also look as it they need moved on to bigger pots.

Quite a few of my plants are also making a comeback after the harsh frosts so it is time to sort them out into better compost and pots ready for sale!

Finally, hope to pull some rhubarb which is doing so well the leaves are starting to cover areas where seeds have been planted.

I had all this week off work except for today - got home a little while ago and am shortly going to sow some onion seeds and some radish seeds but tomorrow DS2 is going to his dads for weekend, best friend is coming to visit and we will be down the pub by the river for a leisurely lunch, then come back here to admire all my hard work in the garden during the week and relax in deckchairs with a glass or two of vino .

Will give my friend some of my babies (seedlings!!) and then on Sunday might pop over to the nursery to buy a couple of pots and try and resist all those lovely plants but may take a look at some flower seeds as as well as growing my veg I want to grow as many flowers from seed as I can.

Orange King - have you ever smelled nettle soup fertiliser? Calling it as hot rotting baby poo still doesn't come near the stank.:eek:

I prefer just buying seaweed liquid and diluting it with water.
