Hi there,can anyone tell me how to put the autofill into the browser bar when usin Mozila Firefox? I have it in IE but cannot find out how to do it in Firefox.

Don't think there's a setting for that in normal options but it tells you how to do it here. (post date Nov Sat 13th 2004 10:25am)

about:config isn't hard to change but if you want to be careful you should backup your settins first. More details here
(tells you how to bakup if you scroll down a little)

Have tried that but it won`t appear in the browser bar

all I can suggest is that you check you followed the instructions to the letter.

The first time I did this a few weeks age, I typed urlbar.autoFill instead of browser.urlbar.autoFill and I couldn't figure out for ages why it wouldn't work (and it took me ages to figure out how to remove urlbar.autoFill since there is no delete option)

Have tried it again with your wording,still the same,nothing in browser bar,it has highlighted it in the list that the autofill is user enabled in bold lettering
