Renew tax credits? Then its fine. They may ring you if something is wrong on the form or they may send you another letter out.0

It is perfectly safe to renew your Tax Credit award by post... provided you have not received a letter from the 'Specialist Renewals' team, in which case you would be required to phone them to renew.
If everything is in order with a renewal submitted by post then you should receive an award notice within 2 to 3 weeks of the award being renewed. Should there be any issue with your renewal you will be contacted either by phone or by letter and asked questions to allow us to resolve any problem.0 -
I normally call it through and then send the paperwork in. Although this time the chap I spoke to said I didn't need to send the paperwork in as the call was sufficient.
It's safe to post it, and I expect it only adds a couple of days onto the process as obviously it's got to arrive there and be processed rather than you phoning it through.
I'd suggest you go with which ever one you have peace about. If you're anxious about posting it, just phone it through. If you're on a Bt package were the 08 numbers are free at the weekend then do it tomorrow.
