I had a personal shopper at Debs for a wedding where I didn't know anyone! (first outing as the new girlfriend) It was so cool, it really boosted my confidence as I knew I looked fab. (Booked a makeover at Estee Lauder the same day too.) Perhaps your Mum would reconsider?0 -

I dont know how much you wish to spend my MIL has just got her outfit and she likes her knees covered she thinks they are too skinny!! MIL managed to get a brand new raw silk condici outfit on ebay for £100 they retail at £550-£750 and they are traditionally cut beneath the knees!!Debt at LBM £19700 :eek:

Most mums recognise what their mums did for them, being a mum of 4 taught me so much about my mum.

you could try an online shop like roman originals? they do mother of the bride outfits but are not mega expensive.0

Chelbel i feel for you!!! Ive taken every1s opinions on board and ill get my mum up through the week and see what she thinks plus ive arranged to go shopping with her next saturday to hopefully try on and poss make her mind up!!!
