Natwest did too me this morning.
Must be completely random, as I'm not abroad and wouldn't need to take up their kind (probably a catch somewhere) offer.0 -
I got one saying I could increase my credit card limit and when I tried, it was refused. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I got 2 from the Halifax yesterday. I was in Cornwall but roads were fine and just about afforded the extortionate price of petrol!0

If a customer wants a service and is prepared to pay the going rate for it, then what's the problem?
I have a yearning need for an annual break in the sun, but those pesky holiday firms do insist on profiteering out of me. They even have the cheek to send me a "Winter Sun" brochure when I never go away at that time of year. Awful profiteering attempt!
On this one I applaud the banks for taking the initiative and at least trying to offer selected customers a line of credit at a time of potential need. I would think it has been genuinely appreciated by several people who were in difficult circumstances - especially when certain airlines and travel insurers don't seem to be playing fair.
If the customer doesn't want it, just delete the text message!0 -
Completely agree.. maybe I'm just a cynic and always question the banks' motives. lolopinions4u wrote: »Business is a two way street.
