we bought our present home 2 1/2 years ago but it still shows on the Rightmove site "sold subject to contract". As we are likely to market it again in the near future, we contacted the agent to ask for it to be removed & their reply was that it was a problem with Rightmove & it would be removed shortly. That was over two months ago & its still on there. A week ago, we contacted Rightmove through their site via email explaining the situation but they haven't replied. We want it off as it could cause confusion if people see SSTC. Any advice how we can get it deleted. Thanks

You need to keep chasing the agent. It takes about 5 minutes for Rightmove to be updated! Rightmove just lists whatever the agent requires.
Write recorded delivery to the agent threatening damages (it WILL impact your ability to sell) if it is not removed within 24 hours of receipt of your letter.0 -
thanks for your speedy reply. The odd thing is when we go onto the agents own website it is not on there which I find strange. I will definitely write to them & fingers crossed it will be deleted promptly (or else!!) thanks0
