I would just like to say thanks to everyone on this forum. I have been going through the house selling/buying process for the last 7 weeks and the forum has been very helpful. I must saying this being the first time we have sold and bought, (last time we were first time buyers), it has been the most stressfull 7 weeks of my life!! I have been told by me solicitor that we are exchanging on Monday to complete 30/04. So the process for us has been very quick, but I reckon if anyone set up a conveyancing company that were quick and efficient they would be minted. The whole process is so slow, and I have spent the last seven weeks constantly on the phone, chasing up my solicitor, everything seems to be done by letter, which slows everything down. What ever happened to getting on the phone or e-mail, in the real world of work if I worked like the solicitors do, nothing would get done. Hopefully I can breathe a sign of relief on Monday, and I get to move into my lovely new home on Friday, and wish good luck to those of you starting out on this process!
