I'm going to bed now too. Busy day tomorrow, need to go to town to bank to do my change of name again as they lost the form last time. Real PITA as I can't put any cheques in til it's been changed. Need to find marriage cert too. Hmmm.
Night all, sleepy vibes all round x0 -

how is everyone??? welcome to any newbies.
have been lurking loads, but not posting. i've been okay, but am now struggling again with LO's sleep. I can go for a few weeks and it doesn't bother me, but then it just crashes down on me. we just can't continually break through the 4 hour barrier. i worked it out today, and i think in the last 8 months, she has slept for more than 4 hours at one time, approximately 6 or 7 times.
it doesn't matter if she goes to sleep having eaten really well or day, or very little; it doesn't matter if i lay with her on my bed until she goes to sleep; it doesn't matter if she puts herself to sleep in her cot when i am in the room; it doesn't matter if she cries when she is going to sleep when i am in the room; it doesn't matter if she sleeps in bed with me ..... she just wont go for more than 4 hours.
sorry, just needing a rant.
my search for the answer continues ....

It works because it means you don't have to touch a sore bottom. Using that and a little bit of metanium on the really raw, bleeding bits worked for us.
LOL - watching Sean of the Dead too! Now I believe Tia!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

thanks tara. unfortunately no, she doesn't sleep any better if with me. she ends up with me most nights again now. she will do her initial 3.5 - 4 hour stretch, then she will be with me and wake every couple of hours or so.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »It works because it means you don't have to touch a sore bottom. i'm watching criminal minds
i dont like bleeding bits
just really pleased it has helped. LO likes to take the powder out of my hand and put it on her 'bits' herself (along with trying to brush her own hair and wash her face).
cute moment last night though ... i sat her on the sofa when coronation street was on and roy cropper was on, so i told her his name and said that he runs the 'cafe' .. at which point she did her fake cough ... obviously getting cafe and cough mixed up

I'm no help AF, sorry. Just an assurance that at some point it will get better. When one of us is having the most awful toddler tantrums you'll be sitting looking at your little angel thanking your lucky stars. Swings and roundabouts. See, no help at all. XXXXXXXXXX
I'm off too. XToo many children, too little time!!!
