Popped over to the boot sale on a bit of random inspiration and guess what? Picked up an L&G for £15! :j:j Am very chuffed, especially as they keep going for £35 on eBay :D. Also DH randomly bought a 8 punnets of strawberries for £2 so now I need to figure out what to make with loads of strawberries before they go off, lol...

Bargain!! I bought a 2nd hand one from netmums for £30. Looking forward to it getting used now!

You can freeze strawberries pretty well. Don't defrost perfectly to eat on their own but fine for putting in stuff (crumble, sauce, cupcakes etc!)

I don't know what's wrong with me I am on a cleaning mission...just hoovered hall, stairs and landing. Swept out bathroom and toilet, peeled spuds, dusted boys room, cleared my cupboard of piles of stuff dumped on the bottom and put a little set of drawers in there, put dishwasher stuff away!!!!
Nesting!! (edit: SM beat me to it!)

We had fun watching eurovision yesterday, even if I did miss most of it trying to put Izzy to bed when she wanted to play with everyonbe - I think I should have sat on the sofa with her and just let her stay up until she passed out on me, but never mind! Lots of leftovers today, so our meals are all wonky - Izzy had rhubarb crumble and ice-cream for breakfast!
That's ok! Sure she didn't mind and very :money: :)

I've been for a walk to my grandma and grandad's today with A in the sling. First time I've used it for ages. Find it a bit better now he's a bit bigger actually.

G & G really enjoyed our visit, they needed cheering up. We do see them on Monday nights for dinner at my mum's but we can never stay long as we have to get back for A going to bed. Grandad currently has shingles and is not fully recoverd from the op he had a few months ago. Grandma found last week that even though she only finished chemo 2 weeks ago, the 2 new lumps she's found are a more aggressive form of the lymphoma she's just had treated :( She has a patch of what we suspect is her 4th patch of skin cancer being checked out in a couple of weeks too. I am very worried about them both.

Thanks ladies. Just seems to have been one thing after another with them both over the last couple of years. They are getting on a bit now and it's scary.

Oh I wanted to see going postal. Do you know if it's repeated?
