Can anyone remind me what is best for soothing chickenpox? think they are about to make an appearance here.At least it is half term if they do.
Piriton.. cool Oaty baths (bag oats and place under running water).. vit E cream to help reduce scarring. Medised (has different antihistamine to piriton so both can be used together) Sunshine!!
Calamine dries the spots too quickly and makes them incredibly itchy so best avoided.Hi PP hows the bump and brood

FBB i sold the Buzz lol, kinda wish i didn't now though cos i did like it really. So i'm using a Graco Mosaic atm with car seat on (i'm not keen on it in pushchair mode).
So i'm after a Joolz atm cos i'm lusting over a purple one on ebay
Worst thing i found about the Buzz was dismantling it all to go in the car but the Joolz is worse for that so i'm a bit of a moron really :rotfl:
Have told the other Joolz seller i'll think about it (and retracted my offer) and i've not replied to the Apple seller yet.
Ooh, the purple Joolz is lovely, Beenie. Hope you win it!

Im a bit low today, I am not well, and E is snotty, OH wants to go out to "play" with his friend, but I told him I wasnt happy with that and why cant all 6 of us go out, and his friend was up for that, but Nooooooooooooooo OH wants to just go out with his friend, he says all 6 of us can do something tomorrow.
I am !!!!!!! sick of sitting in the house, and its crap having to deal with whingy E when I dont feel 100%
So I am tempted to get the bus to where I used to live cos my friend is up from London and she's invited us to the pub for lunch today, or text my mam and ask what she is doing today, only problem with the pub lunch thing is that Ive only just managed to get E to sleep (he was fighting it even though he is wrecked) so dont want to disturb him by getting him into the pram, and putting some pants on him, cos my god he is whingy times a million if he gets disturbed in his sleep
So *sigh* looks like another boring day in the house
He can sleep on the move.. pop in the pushchair .. put pants in your bag and slip a blanket over him and go.. Don't let your life be dictated by a pipsqueak.. you are in charge not him!!
Poke OH in the eye.. go out with friend today without him and go to your mums tomorrow without him!!!!!! and if you can find somewhere to go Monday without him too even better!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hope you both feel better soon xx
I would try and go out if you can. Would E go back to sleep if pushed in his pram? Catching up with friends might make you feel a bit better
