Morning all. Loads to do today, but can't stop feeding the baby even if I am busy. She got me up at 6:30 so I've made tzaziki already. My list for the day:
    • cut rhubarb at the allotment and water in the greenhouses
    • make rhubarb crumble (well, stew rhubarb, make the crumble, then combine the two and cook this evening when people actually get here)
    • make pasta salad
    • wash up all the mess I've made
    • go into town, collect reserved library book, take money out of savings and pay into my bank
    • call joint account and get them to reset my online pin number thingy AGAIN, as I didn't change it to what I thought I did.
    • call credit card to pay some money off directly, seeing as I can't do it online.
    • Finish clearing back table and clean it
    • Tidy living room floor
    • hoover
    • change our bed sheets and have a bit of a tidy
    • inflate camping matress
    • greet guests
    • drink, eat and be merry :)
I should be able to delegate some of these later on, but DH is working from 10-6 today, so I'm not going to get a lot of help there (am leaving him to sleep, as he was working last night too, but hopefuly we can go do the allotment bits together before I drop him at work)

We went to Ikea yesterday to get steps for my friend's son to use for toilet training. We got Rhys one too for practising stepping up since we don't have stairs and he's been lifting his little legs up like a pro and stepping up, then standing on this step, arms in the air, looking all victorious :rotfl:

That is adorable - video please ;)

While we are on teeth, they can be really variable. Izzy had pone come trough months ago which popped its little tip through the gum and hasn't budged since. She has had another one come through a few weeks ago and it isn't through fully, but has really go a wiggle on. I think teeth, just like everything else with babies, will do their own thing in their own time!

    Thanks.

Calamine in aquaeous cream is good and you can also get Clarytin liquid for them to take to help stop the itching....It is normally behind the counter in the chemists:)

Hopefully they don't get them too badly.

Thank you for monitor suggestions...I will look about and see If I can get any good deals on the ones mentioned:) I did see the BT100 on Amazon, through a seperate seller for £29.99, so am keeping that in mind for now while I check for anything cheaper!

K slept fine in the boys room, he woke up shouting me at 6.50, which isn't bad at all. His shouting did wake the boys but they are usually up by 7am anyway so no big deal. L said he went over to K and whispered to him to Shhh and go back to sleep:rotfl: They are now all breakfasted and just need some clothes on.

Spent yesterday playing at configuring two car seats and a booster seat in the car:p I 'think' I have them in the best places now....time will tell.

    No probs.

The main difference from then would be that they now don't advise the plain calamine lotion as it dries the skin and makes it more itchy....

I defintely found the Clarytin liquid good...or if they haven't got that one there is Piriton liquid but can make them very drowsy;)

Morning!! Sorry I never made it back last night after attempting to catch up!! Thank you for the tooth answers, just had another feel this morning and no change since yesterday, lol!

Beenie, bit late now but I agree with the others that you shouldnt have to buy either pram now. So what pram have you currently got, the buzz? How are you getting on with it? Did you see I bought the maxicosi mura in the end and am very pleased with it, got it off freeads, quite a heavy pram but great for when im going on my longer walks and LOVE that it faces me.

On Thursday me and 2 mummy friends went to a cafe on Gold Hill in Shaftesbury (does anyone remember it, its the cobbled hill on the old Hovis ads). Well I had got a lift up with my friend so I only took the Zapp as it fits in her boot easier. Well what a laugh it was trying to get those little wheels over the cobbles, in the end some chap came and lifted it the last bit but even he was a bit odd, as if I shouldnt have attempted it. Well you dont know till you try do you!! Actually bit of a crap day all in all as one of the ladies working in the cafe seemed particularly offish with us as too we had 3 buggys with us, well hello we didnt have an awful lot of choice!! Aside from that grr-ness, T ate his lunch well in there sat in their high chair so pleased with that!! :)

We are off to visit MIL & FIL this morning, weather not so nice here today.

Think i might get up in a second and watch a film :)

You must be the only new mum in the world who has insomnia not caused by the baby!!

Well busy morning tidying the house then dropping off A at mum's at 1pm as we are going to see Elton John tonight!!! :j Soooooooooooo excited!!

You guys (Beenie lol) are funny with your pram obsessions! Any of you know of a cheap nice parent facing strollery type? I like the asda baby event cheapy one but I would prefer PF really. Won't be buying anything else though unless it's a bargain!

FBB i sold the Buzz lol, kinda wish i didn't now though cos i did like it really. So i'm using a Graco Mosaic atm with car seat on (i'm not keen on it in pushchair mode).

So i'm after a Joolz atm cos i'm lusting over a purple one on ebay  :D:o Worst thing i found about the Buzz was dismantling it all to go in the car but the Joolz is worse for that so i'm a bit of a moron really :rotfl:

Have told the other Joolz seller i'll think about it (and retracted my offer) and i've not replied to the Apple seller yet. :o
