jillie - just a thought, but can you find flights for cheaper than the TC website? My dad & his GF want to go to Greece and TC are 1 of only 2 airlines that fly to that island.

Had my first WW weigh-in this morning - down 3.5 lbs! Woohoo! :T :D

    .

we can only match the website unfortunately. and then its a phone call to the area manager for them to say ok. ----its a right pain!!

well done on the weightloss!! :D

Aless, what if they were to fly to one island and take a ferry to another? Island hopping might be lovely?

I'm just organising meeting a friend on Sunday in the UK. I am so excited!

I've made Husband a series of envelopes for his actual birthday so we're starting after breakfast by heading into London and going to at least two awesome places before lovely dinner and back to the hotel. I need to check Tube maps to see what the ticket we need is and which stations are pushchair friendly.

On that note, does anyone know if Lambeth North and Fulham Broadway tube stops are pushchair-happy?

no worries, jillie, wasn't sure if you had sooper sekrit discounting powers or not :D

SS - haven't a clue on the stations - I avoid pushchair in London at all costs. Most central London stations aren't wheelchair accessible, but some only have a few steps which could be navigated with a pushchair (and some others have zillions).

workinmummy - my gp has just called back and has written a prescription for enfamil so fingers firmly crossed. If D has a reaction to that then we will be referred to the paediatrician :(. I meant to comment yesterday? as well - deffo super yummy mummy for lunch time pegging out ;)

Excellent news Hammy. Really hope it works for D. To help him obviously and to ease your stress and anxiety. Just wanted to comment whilst i saw that you are on. Off to catch up and see what news MFD has.

Also yay for James and Edward. Lovely photo of Isla too.

How do those necklaces work anyway? I don't fancy the idea of her wearing something round her neck, can you get anklets or something?!

Weaning so far is bankrupting me in Vanish. I'm sure there's more MSE ways to get rid of the stains but i'm too lazy :rotfl: Her poo is still explosive, just stains more!

Anyone have a link of good place to get these...

Sunlight is your friend (with no vanish). Most stains will disappear completely if hung out to dry on a bright sunny day. If you don't have outdoor space it also works to leave them on a window sill in bright sunlight. This has worked for me with everything from poo to spag bol over the years.

I agree sunshine is the best way to get rid of stains:D

Morning all, well E has had me awake since 4.15am, I attempted to put him back in bed but his dummy kept falling out and waking him up, so after 45 mins of going up and down the stairs I gave up and brought him back down here and he is in his swing currnetly asleep, oh he just turned his head and his dummy is stuck on his cheek lol

I think hes got a cold, he sounds all bunged up and he sneezed loads before and proper green bogies came out!!!!

Think William has as well ... constant runny nose complete with green bogies and bunged up plus coughing... wish these 2 teeth would finish coming through....

I know someone asked about this the other day (sorry mind blank who it was) but we havent had a poo since about 3 yesterday but loads of wet nappies so not overly bothered.... I am right arent I?

    OOps forgot to say

    Happy Birthday Caitlyn

    Happy 1st Birthday Caitlyn!!!

I have managed to get a childminder for Erin for the next 2 tuesdays and thursdays and then hopefully in a few weeks she will have a space for her! Am trying to get a few days so that one day i can get the house done with no kids and then the second day i can chill out or catch up on things that are needing done. she is getting an hour tom to see how she is and have some fun! and as its just a casual thing at the moment she is only taking £20 for the 2 days 9-3 and includes all food and nappies :D

Great news on the milk Hammy i really hope it works!

Morning! I think someone's teeth were hurting him last night as he kept waking up with different noises than the usual I-want-mommy-it's-dark wimper/cry. Been thinking about Boo's teething necklaces when I get paid as they really are reasonably priced and I don't like using chemically medicines if I don't have to.

Had my first WW weigh-in this morning - down 3.5 lbs! Woohoo! :T :D
SJ - lucky you. Sometimes I wonder if I didn't actually feed Finn when he woke up at 2/3 if he'd be fine, but I'm too chicken to test it as when I do feed him then he does seem genuinely hungry.

Aless well done on the weight loss :j (I put 2lb on this week :o time to get back on the wagon!)

I've tried not feeding Isla when she wakes at 2 but nothing seems to settle her and she does actually feed properly not just suck so I figure she's getting herself that distracted feeding in the day that she needs a top up at night. I might be wrong but I'm too sleepy for lengthy battles at night!

Maz I got Isla's off ebay from this seller, I know this site comes highly reccommended but I'm not sure what the postage is like sorry. My Dad's a complete sceptic about things like this but they were staying here when Isla's came, within 48 hours he commented on the change in her. It might not work for everyone but I figure even if it doesn't it looks cute and does her no harm.

Happy Birthday Caitlyn! Krystal the cake is fantastic! One very clever Mummy :)

Get the refund and walk away! Hve you been looking on Netmums/Gumtree for something you can just go and pick up or leave if you don't like it or doesn't have a basket etc?

Yeah i've been looking but nothing for a reasonable price... I do still want it :( The seller is in total denial that it's his fault, he should be giving me free 24hr postage for all the hassle but he's like 'zomg ebay changed my email address'.

    No, they didn't you goon.
