    her friends children.

she said that her 5 yr old will look for milk from her at home but not in public as he knows there is something not quite right with still getting milk from her.

sorry, but i think 5yrs is wrong.

    2 or 3 maybe but not 5.

    I missed it!
But why is she feeding friends children?

I don't think it's wrong at age five but I do think it's a bit weird to be feeding other people's children unless there's a particular reason.

    Just catching up
/smug/ WM totally copied me and got a baby jogger city mini in black, red and cream but she had to top me and buy a snazzy John Lewis footmuff  :rotfl: Not that I am trying to encourage you in any way Beenie :D

I did indeed totally copy Hammy. But its a 3 wheeler Beenie and
you don't like them. But I have also seen that you have since sniped your self an i-candy apple. Pram obsesssion much?

Hammy yes, Footmuff was confined to the boot yesterday, when we had a little walk.

Alex was such a good boy! So calm and quiet but the second I caught his eye he gave me the biggest smiles!!!! Gorgeous!
There is a photo where he looks to be sitting unaided.

Thank you, all nice remarks about Alex entirely welcome. He was a little star and i was very proud of him. And yes, he is getting there with the sitting. Kian may have just spurred him on.

All good vibes sent in Boos direction for baby James. And to SS for her hubby. Have just done a mamoth catch up from Tuesday afternoon, have actually done a bit of work too and am now off in search of some lunch.

Susan/Jillie - She is a CM and a baby she was looking after drank all the EBM it's mum had left with her, she called the mum to ask what she wanted to do because baby still seemed hungry and they had apparently previously mentioned in passing/joking that she could feed it so the mum said give it a go and see if the baby would feed from her. Shes only done it on a few occasions like that, with explicit permission from the parent :)

Som - aren't Sophie's cheaper on ebay than the shop? I'd get one now so she is ready for action as soon as T is too ;)
weighing - just go with whatever you like, I go whenever I remember/realise its been ages lol

Lots of Vibes for baby James and his Mummy & Daddy xx

Ed is sporting a very manly lilac hair clip today :p I'll take it out before we leave the house or maybe just start calling him Edwina? :rotfl:

Kindof - T does the shakey head thing at times and I had always put it down to being hungry, she aleady has the bald patch :( its weird looking too cos she has really long hair under it.

Yeah he has a bald bit too and has hair under so he looks weird lol

Sleeping Bags, I have put T in a 1tog on the warm nights we have and open the bedroom window to get some air in, if it gets any warmer will give her vest a miss so she is just in sleep suit and sleeping bag.

Well last night he went with just his vest and sleeping bag cos it was warm

Love the chat about Sophies :D I found a shop yesterday near us that sells them but she said they go really fast and to put my name down for the next delivery if I want one, as she is only 9 weeks I thought maybe its a bit early...any thoughts?

I dont think its too early, E deffo has a tooth coming in, I can feel it with my finger

Have baby clinic this morning to get T weighed. The HV said I can go as little/often as I like so we have started with fortnightly but as all we are doing is getting her weighed am thinking of just going monthly unless we have any issues, does that sound ok?

Yeah good plan, I might do that too, cos it takes me half an hour to walk lol and unless I have any questions for HV then I dont see why he needs to go every week

Massive Vibes to Boogellys cousin and baby James

E's nappies stink now anyway lol can they really get much worse, his pumps are horrid too, Glam were Jacks really bad on this milk?

EA does she have a temp?

I am waiting for HV to come for baby massage again, Ive only just got E to sleep half an hour ago so really dont want him woke up gah lol

If she won and then won an election we could top America's first black president with our black female PM :p

    Afternoon

    Hugs to baby James.

Just been to tescos and the jumbo packs of baby dry, on the shelf for £12 were scanning at £10 - so 120 size 4s for £10. Just gotta hope she doesn't grow out of them in the meantime.
And the huggies natural care wipes bogof, but £1 a packet didn't work. Can't win 'em all.

They are showing as £10 on the website.... that might just be a better deal than the B2G2F which was 9p a nappy for size 4's off the top of my head...Sorry about the wipes think they must have changed that offer..

Kindof, i cant tell. The forehead thermometre we have takes 15secs to register and she's already shaken it off her head by then. Even if i hold it on.

And i think if i use the mouth one she will move about and it will go down her throat. That one takes 1 min to register.

    I'll get a 1 second one soon though :)
