The nursery seem to think the vest is great and works? i have no idea really but anything is worth a go! i have read into these blankets and a few people are making them but im a bit wary as this is Charlie and he is not exactly a gental boy :D Night times are hard and if it did work then it would be money well spent?
3, Tara, Tia or anyone do you have any other suggestions as we really need him to start sleeping, he use to be a great sleeper :(

I've never heard of these vests or blankets until you said. But just after you mentioned the vest, there was a bit on the local news about using the similar vest on a naughty puppy, it seemed to work! :rotfl:

Is the blanket working on a pressure feeling? Like you feel held/contentrelaxed/? Would a tightly tucked in blanket have the same effect. When I was little, mum thought I was strange because i'd lie flat on my back in bed, and insist she tucked the sheets under the matress really tight so I couldn't move! :rotfl:

Tbh, we've never really had any problems with Joes sleeping. (touching wood!) Now and again, he'll have a bad week and not need to sleep, but he's quite happy to be in his room playing with something, hopefully quietly. (But he's older and probably less dangerous than Charlie now).
He has his moments of not liking his bed, he slept on the landing with the dog for over 6 months once - but he takes his pillow and quilt with him so as long as he was warm and sleeping, I didn't care where he was.

So i'm no help at all! Liv is more trouble at bedtime! :(

I'm trying to find out what the little park on Exmouth seafront is called. It's a little gated park that you pay a couple pounds for the kids to go in but it's lovely and safe and you can get a coffee there, just phoned DD's but none of us have any clue, sorry Dora and MDW.
