No no, am not sad.. it's just a bit of "Oh, this time last year, we were... hmmm, yeah.... ah well, look how wrong they were...".. if that makes any sense

Oh - talking of numbers, I need more counting songs. I only have one two three four five, once I caught a fish alive...
and lots of ones that count backwards, but that is just confusing at the moment.
I'm sure I know others, but I can't think of any.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Yay for counting - Katie skips number 8 when she's counting, not sure what she has against it.
Tacktor is soooooo cute.
All I got off Katie on the bus ride home this afternoon was:
K: "Have dinner at home?"
me:"it's tea time now"
K: "Have tea at home?"
me: "yes"
K "Ding?" - said in a hopeful voice as she wanted to press the bell for the bus to stop
me: "I'll tell you when"
Repeat about 5 times.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Aargh, I just ended up ordering from Spirit of Nature! Too many bargains.
Glam- if you're reading hope you make a speedy recovery and that OH is spoiling you.
FBB- Henry drank about 24oz of expressed milk all together while I was gone! He's a gutsy little thing. It was absolutely heart-melting when he looked up at me and grinned when I got home, and he's been a delight today, except at bedtime when he was his usual sleep-avoiding self!
Toddling one counting and speaking sound so cute! I am constantly bowled over by how much Henry progresses each day, so I can't imagine what it's like when they get to that stage.
Ladybird- all the counting songs I can think of are counting backwards too.....ten green bottles, three little speckled frogs etc. I will get my thinking cap on though.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
