Weezl, you may have already had an answer but here is a link to a PDF about tax credits which I have been using and found helpful:

All the more reason to do away with this ridiculous, antiquated first-past-the-post system.*

(*not that the American system is any better!! I prefer Germany, to be honest.)

Did my thesis on the German electoral system and yep, it's definitely the best IMHO. And a hung parliament isn't all that bad, my home country of Canada has had a minority government for a while now. It does mean potentially more frequent elections...but it also means that any policies the leading party wants to implement have to take the other parties into consideration, so nothing crazy gets done! Both a bad and a good thing! Hmmm...my years of PoliSci training are beginning to show. I'll shut up now!

I got jasmine some cruising shoes a couple of weeks ago, shes still not walking on her own at all but she was forever losing socks and having cold toes so i decided to get her some, plus if we're out and about i can put her down and hold her hand so she can practice a few steps, she was only a 3f, i wanted to get her slippers really but cant find any that start any smaller than a size 4.

    Hope everyone is ok?

i think my laptop is dying the screen is really dark! x

Haven't had to deal with shoes yet...but two of my friends who sons just recently started walking highly recommend cruising shoes as it gets them used to the idea of having something on their feet. Both their boys revolted against shoes for the first little while and 'forgot' how to walk when they had them on.

I've been catching up as i've been in and out all day. Hope everyone is ok - hugs to wherever necessary.

We've stayed red as has most of The Wirral. However Wirral West has gone to blue for the first time in years which isn't suprising as that's the posh bit full of people opposed to paying 50% tax on their massive earnings. :(

EA, I have memories of the last Tory goverment, I was a single mum for some of it. Desperate is all I can say, really desperate. This recession was not caused by our government but I do think they have handled it well. The one from the 90's was worse, Tories led that one. I remember the strikes, they privatised soo much, really f!!!!d things up!

I'm old enough to remember too. :(
I was thinking yesterday that the Conservatives could win, because there are people who are now old enough to vote, but too young to remember how bad the 80's/90's were??

Although I wonder how many votes I'd get if I pledged mandatory sterilisation of chavs :p

    You'd get my vote. :o

I've just been out for ice cream with my friend, J & V. We were in Parkgate, which looks over the marshland to North Wales in the distance. I told him that when i'm Prime Minister, I will move all the chavs and workshy to Anglesey after sterilising them. Then I will demolish both bridges, and put armed guards on the Welsh coast to shoot any escapees. They will get no benefits, and will have to fend for themselves. It wouldn't take long for them to die out. :D

(Of course, any nice people living on Anglesey will be moved to the mainland before this happens!). :p
