Morning

Could I ask what a blocked duct feels like? I have a lump, but not near the surface, and it's painful/tender to press it. Going to make an appt at the docs this morning but wanted to save my mind from going into overdrive

My kitchen officially looks like a laundry room! I have soooo much ironing to do, and another load in the washer.

Right, off to get the cattle prod - DS is still not dressed.................

LOL awesome SS and NP (I dont know who that i son here, I am crap lol)

I had a !!!! night lol, E usually goes to bed at 7.30pm, gets a dream feed at 9pm then wakes at 1.30am then up for the day at 7, well not last night, went to bed at 7.30pm, fed at 10.00pm, woke at 1.00am, then again at 4.00am, then again at 5.00am and has just gone back to sleep now, I am wrecked!

Why do they always do it when you have stuff to do the next day so I cant spend all the time he snoozes snoozing!

pp, i think i had one last week. My whole boob was really full feeling, lumpy and tender. My nipple was also really sensitive and feeding kinda hurt at first. I couldn't feel any specific lumps per se, but maybe mine was deep inside, not sure.

Anyway, within 24 hrs it was much better. I fed him loads from that side, plus did some gentle massaging and a warm shower.

Not up to too much today, as I overdid it a bit yesterday on the tidying front. Just need to hoover hall/stairs/landing and maybe tidy the boys room a little bit, although surprisingly, it's not too bad:D

Som - would OH help and try and settle LO? Caitlyn has always slept on her side. She rolls over to her back mid-sleep, but always starts off on her side. I agree with the towel suggestion, could that work? I know how you feel, the days feel so much longer when you haven't had a decent nights sleep

Thanks aless - no definitely not full. Will see what the doc says, hope she can put my mind at rest.

SS - have been wedging a rolled up towel for a few days now and it worked at first but now she just gets upset she can't move or wriggles so much that they move!

By the time 2.30 came I decided if she was happy on her front she could stay there as she woke each time I tried to turn her. I figured as she was sleeping with her head on the side and she could breath then no harm. But she still continued to wake every 15 min and get upset cos she was stuck. So at 3 i gave up and moved her into our bed which was fine but as OH sleeps so deeply I slept in a weird possition to make sure T was safe and now have back ache!:(

woke up at 6.30 and she is all cranky and attention demanding and have prob had about 2 sleep and can really feel it. Need food too but there's sod all in as I need to go shopping, supposed to have post natal this afternoon but think I'll give it's miss and try catch up on some sleep instead.

Kindof - what a numpty your so called friend is! She sounds pathetic.

Hammy - hope your suprise location is good and pic nic is yummy

aless - sounds like a much better night for you.

Been Reading up on tummy sleeping and everywhere seems to think if they can roll there then it's fine cos they should be able to roll back. Apparently is harder to roll from back to tummy than the other way! Wish someone would tell T this.

PP - OH is a git when it comes to sleep he's a !!!!!! to wake up and moans about lack of sleep (apparenly if he's tired he'll get the sack). He has no patience either and either hands her back or just ignore her both meaning i may as well just do it myself! Don't get me wrong he is generally really good about the house and does most of the house work cleaning but is clueless when it comes to T.

Som - I wouldn't worry about tummy sleeping. If that's where she is happy sleeping, then just leave her. Charlotte went through a phase of it and I'm sure the boys did too.

When I was a baby, you were supposed to put babies to sleep on their tummies and my Mam went through the same worries as I would only settle on my back!

Kindof - I would delete the comment and the friend. That's an awful thing to post. Hope you feel better this morning *hugs*

Lovely sunny day again and it's forecast to be 25°C here. That's going to make boot camp tough this evening.

Just working a couple of hours this morning so I can get back and watch the budget on TV. Heard various rumours about how they are going to tinker with tax credits and child benefit and it's got me a little worried. We rely on the income coming in, and it will mess up our personal budget if they take them away.

OMG, i feel sooo sick

I should get some Cheerios but i cba to go downstairs lol. I cant wait for when we move and our kitchen and living room are on the same floor!

Woke up at 7am because i have a bad dream The short story is, that i went to this place, came home but left the car seat there. So the next day went to collect it and they gave it back with Lily in!:eek: Turns out i left her there to. But the manager stayed over night to look after her and i was crying loads as i forgot my baby.

DH gave me a cuddle and now he's gone to work, he offered to stay home but my feeling sickness will hopefully go soon. I blame the bit of coca cola i had this morning :rotfl:

I think i hear our recycle bin being emptied!! :j:j:j
The council called y'day to say they were coming to empty it today (finally!) and then she said that she came round and went through my bin only to find a dominos pizza box with a crust of pizza left in :whistle: and thats why it didn't get collected.

Which is a lie, it didn't get collected because we are not reigstered as a house, everywhere thinks this place is a business address or it doesn't exist.

Anyway, onto baby news.

Lily now has 8ozs in her bottles :eek: The Aptamil box doesn't even have 8ozs in their little chart thing. So i may mention it to the HV, she is sooo tall though i imagine she needs lots of milk

Also, she can turn herself all the way round in her cot :j
We keep waking up to find her laying completly opposite to how we put her :rotfl:

And, my best friend is going for her 12 week scan today! :j She's very nervous as she had a mmc at 10 weeks last time, but she heard the heartbeat the other day so im sure all is fine

What status are you referring to?
