hello everybody. I have done my renew and i have earned about £1000 less last year. than i originally told tax credits. Checked yesterday to see if figures have been updated and the new award finalized. There is a small amount extra going in with my normal payment on monday( works out to be the difference that i would recieve over the last few weekshad the renew already been done)
my question is as i have earned less than previously thought i was hoping for some back payment from last year. when i spoke to the tax credit she said the full award hadnt been finalized yet. so do this mean there is still some hope that i may recieve some back payment.
Thank you to all that reads this and to anybody that may reply.

hiya, i cant confirm is there is any hope of a back payment but just to assure you that there are prob lots of others in your position including me

we had our income as est 24600 and we earned 23891. Our provisonal payments were £36 pounds per week ive now been told they are £42 pw so we didnt get any extra backpayment or any extra for the 3 weeks from new financial yr. Im just going to wait for my paperwork it may well be thats it right but all of the calculators say we are entitled to 55pw and ive never known them to be out before.
Didnt really answer your question, hopefully someone will be along soon.
Hope you get a extra payment soon
