Service package with personal car leasing
Options
I'm considering leasing my next car, and have been looking around at various sites.
1 that I like so far is
http://www.euroleasedirect.co.uk/index.htm
as no deposit is required. The service package costs £35 see below link

I am curious if I can get a similar package seperatly for less than £35

what you need to work out is would it be cheaper to save up my £35 per month and when I need a service I pay for it out of that, when do I need new tyres, how much will that cost from my pot of £35's? If you get a puncture and it can't be repaired and you need a new tyre, how much will it cost? If something goes wrong with the car how will I pay for it if it's not covered by warranty.
Lastly depending on how many miles you plan to do will determine how useful this will be, some people say if you're doing upwards of 15-20k per annum then it worth getting the 'service pack'.
I had full maitenance on a lease car before and I was doing around 20k per annum, that was two services, I needed two sets of tyres over the term I had it, brakes got worked on and pads were replaced, and I had breakdown cover for two and a half years that I had it, new car only had 12months.
I think you may find some helpful guides on here or at whatcar's website. You need to do your sums! Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
Fair point,
I'm only going to be doing between 10 & 15K per year. Its just that I currently drive a mercedes coupe 220 cdi & nothing is cheap when it comes to maintenance.
£85 tyres etc etc
so I want to avoid such costs on my next car (not a mercedes)0
