RBS Credit card - close or keep/

So I have £100 left on my RBS credit card and I will be paying that off next week. :T:rotfl::j

My question is should I keep it in the hope that I can get a 0% balance transfer to it in March next year when my current santander 0% runs out? Or close it and get another card for general use now and apply for a new 0% transfer card when the time comes?

Details:
RBS Credit card APR 25.9% limit £4000 (seems unlikely I would get that limit from someone else but no guaruntee they would give me 0% transfer anyway), had the card about 10 years, had a few late payments but that was a few years ago. FYI it is actually still a student credit card as they told me I couldnt change that without actually closing the account which I couldnt do while there was still a balance on it. They didnt seem bothered that it was still technically a student card after graduating 8 years ago though!

I also have
Alliance and Leicster Loan £8095 13.4% due to finish in Feb 2012
Santander card £1911 0% till March next year, my plan is to save at least £150 per month and put it in an ISA so that when the 0% is up I will hvae the money to pay it off. However I would probobly like to keep that money in the isa if possible and just do another 0% balance transfer.
Salary approx £26500

Between now and then I would like a credit card to have available just incase as I travel frequently abroad with work. It is not a neccesity though and I would certainly pay it off each month if I used it(unless 0% purchases). If I did close the RBS one I would probobly try for a rewards type card, a cashback card or a 0% purchases card so that I could put money into a savings account. In fact should I just let the RBS one sit there and apply for one of those types of card anyway?

OK now I am confusing myself!

Any advice?

If you bank with RBS and your account is well conducted I'd close it as you can reapply when you need and get any deal available to 'new' cardholders.
