Tomorrow is the deadline for my application and i'm having a problem with it as the website never works. I'm on Sky Talk where its free to ring landline numbers if I pay a certain amount of money. Well my parents do, lol.
But i know that tomorrow I will be talking to student finance tomorrow and on the phone for about a hour. How much would this cost? Its an 0845 number.
Thanks.

Their 0845 calls cost just over 6p a minute plus a connection charge.
Have you tried www.saynoto0870.com for an alternative geographical number ?0 -
I have looked at it but don't know how to work it. lol. The number is '0845 300 50 90'0

0141 243 3600Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Bear in mind though that, if you're calling from a BT residential landline and you're not on a calling plan which makes the call inclusive, calling the 0845 number will cost 2p/minute weekday daytime (just over a third the 5.9p/minute cost of calling the 01 number). Either would also attract BT's call set-up fee of 9.9p.Thanks.
