Hi there i have a windows vista acer laptop the memory was really full so decided to take it back to factory settings there is loads of things missing i'll not bore you with them all at the one time but one of the first probs is i cant use the at button its coming up like this """"" so i cant even register my email address!!:eek: very frustrating anyone any tips thanks k

    Your keyboard layout is set to US, that's the problem. Change it to UK layout:

    Start>Control Panel>Classic View>Regional and Language Options>Keyboards and Languages>Change Keyboards>Select United Kingdom, or click Add, then select UK.

    dont suppose you would know how to get my password back for netgear wireless router tried the disc but no avail

    Did you change the password in the past, or was it left as the default? Often the password is just the serial number of the router, which is usually printed on the bottom of the device.

    i dont remember doing a password i will try the serial never thought of that thanks alot for this thats me fixed my email account cheers kx

    If you mean the wireless password, use an ethernet cable, and login to the router https://www.routerlogin.net then click wireless.
