The property 'market' is bound by laws and procedures which have their roots in medieval times when land was owned by a small number of people very close to the king or queen. If you fancied a piece of land in those days, you either paid for it or you sent in your private army and invaded it....
These forums are dominated by questions from people who simply have no clue at all about financial relationships, and expect life to carry on uninterrupted by silly questions about whether or not it is actually affordable/manageable/even legal etc etc
When I was at school, I was taught Latin. These days, I think schoolkids should be taught SmallPrint.
