    I recieved today a reply from Orange regarding the F&F settlement letter I sent them. They did not mention negotiation at all. One paragraph that could be useful though, states that "the account has been passed back from a debt agency and is now written off. If a debt is 'written off', this simply demonstrates that Orange has re-classified the debt on the account as an uncollectible loss."

    Should I send another F&F settlement letter to them. They did state on the phone, before I had even begun thinking about making them an offer, that they would not be pursuing the debt any way. Surley it is in their best interest aswell as mine to come to an agreement?

    No, it means that they do not want any money - keep this letter - it is proof that they do not want anything from you.

    That is it, job done and dusted. Orange have closed your account as a debt write off.

    Make sense? Basically you forget about them now.
