Really sorry to hear about your dad. Couldnt just read and leave. Your right things like this certainly do put things into perspective. I was told a month and half ago my dad has cancer and it is the most horrible thing I have ever heard. He starts his chemo tuesday. Just remember how much you feel down you cant let your dad see it. Be upset as much as you want when he isnt there. You need to be strong for him. Being emotionally strong is half of the battle. All the best to your dad and your family.

Hi
I am a newcomer to this forum but have been inpsired by many of the stories I have read. Just wanted say that I was really impressed by the way you supported Mouseann on her journey and hope the forum can give you equal support with your dad. I know you aren't looking for sympathy but it is right to try to put our money problems in perspective.
At the moment I lurge from the depths of depression to "what the hell it's only money and I am alive & well"
Wishing you and your family the very best over the next wee while.0 -

. The good news is that he is a fighter and is still with us but it has certainly put my problems into perspective, what is the point in worrying about it all:(
hiya
just read your post and I agree that it does change the way you look at everything... I lost my mam 7 years ago to cancer and all my views changed from that day!!!
I hope your dad fights for himself and for his family...but if he doesn't(like my mam didn't want to) respect his wishes and support him however you can!!!
I wish him well and love to all your family!
Bev
