Fair quote? Double glazing (G2S)

I'm in the South, and have just received a quote from G2S (if anyone can offer any reviews about this company, please let me know).

5 x windows (energy rated 'A'), plus back door (simple type - half panelled, and half glazed), plus fascia & guttering for one side of a small extension.

All incl. of VAT and fitting: £2,442.

Also: zero % finance for 12 months.

It's not overly expensive.

Obviously depends on the window sizes & toughened glass etc.

Back Door Cost = £240 ish (Fitted expect to pay £420 - £500)

Windows, base on £140 per window (too expensive if they're small) as a cost, then maybe another £100 per window to fit.

So £1700 + VAT = £1997.5


It's not a bad quote in fairness, but you should still be able to shave a few hundred pounds off.

If not, go in the yellow pages and get a FENSA registered smaller firm, family company or something, tell them to beat £2k and they should!
