I was with this man for 15 years from being 16 years old, we grew up together... He was my best friend, I thought he was my soul mate, now we can't even speak as i get so angry about his lie.

I know i can't 'change him back', and to be honest, i would want to as he seems so much happier now.

I have a new partner now, we have a house together. We get along well and love each other... but i wont ever marry again. This is too painful.

well done for taking the plunge. when i got divorced we bought a 'lawpack' from amazon and we did it ourselves. saved a fortune and it was all very amicable. whatever you do - don't forget to get your absolute at the end though (its £40) or you won't actually be divorced! xx
I have realised I will never play the Dane! :(

Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!! :p

Gosh what a chunk of your life, not a bit of wonder you are angry - I certainly would be. But certainly you have no reason to feel a failure. Good luck with your new man and keep looking forwards, not backwards, as none of this was your fault.

For peace of mind you really need to get a consent order too....if you dont your ex can come back at anytime in the future and make a claim on future assets.....lottery win, inheritance etc.
