Hi everyone!
Just wanted to ask a quick question.
At the beginning of New Deal, i had to do a basic Maths and English test thing. There was about 4 questions for each, and i passed it so my adviser said that obviously i didn't need anymore work on that.
However, i have English Language and Literature at grade C GCSE. But Maths is another story.
I took my Maths GCSE in Summer 2006, did the intermediate level and failed it - got grade D! I stayed on at my high school's 6th form and resat the Maths GCSE in Summer 2007 - however i failed again (grade D) - this time by one poxy mark!
So when i am searching for jobs, any that say they want Maths and English at grade C are out of the window, as i only have English at grade C!
Would this be worth mentioning to my New Deal advisor?

You don't have to be on New Deal to get it free - anyone can. Ask at your local college or Learndirect Centre.0 -
