Where is all the BUTTERMILK ????

In the past few months all the big four supers have dropped buttermilk from their shelves. It is no longer stocked by ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons or Sainsburys and Lidel, Aldi and Netto have never had it.
Anyone know what's happening and where can we find it [scones are not the same!]

I'm not sure but I think I read somewhere if you add lemon juice or vinegar to milk it makes buttermilk but perhaps you should google it beforehand just to make sure.0

Our local Tesco Extra has buttermilk - bought some last week! Only a 284ml pot though.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

My local Tesco and Sainsburys still sell it-tesco did stop but it was back on the shelves within a few weeks.0
