"not in my name"

If a debt is in my husbands name and they ask for income/expenditure forms, do I have to declare mine as it is not my debt and should my wages be taken into account ?

Thanks

If you are doing a 'household' SOA for him then you should include the amounts for your debt repayments in the household expenditure but make it clear it is for your debt only and not his.

If you send a personal income & expenditure just for husband then you could exclude your income, but you would also need to exclude your share from all the outgoings etc. So if you both earn the same, then he should only put down half the cost of the mortgage, gas elec, groceries etc.

Often it is easier to do a joint form as that is how many couples work in reality.
