Indemnity insurance sent with original guarantees

When I completed on my house. The solicitor did not have the original guarantees and I had to email the sellers. I was sent some and among them there was an indemnity insurance certificate. I could not tell what it was for, but could see the house was insured for 300k, the amount the sellers paid at that time of purchase. I never bothered to email and asked the sellers what the idemnity insurance was for as I was not aware of any building works being done that needed building permission etc. The only thing they did was to create a study room by using the kitchen and where the kitchen was, it is now a study/guest room. The breakfast room is now the kitchen. They have just swapped the rooms around. No internal alteration was done. & no mention of such in the HIP. Now I am wondering whether I was too complacent and should have asked more questions. Anyway, it is too late now. Thanks
