I hope someone can give urgent advice please ! My daughter has received her P45 from ESA this morning dated 7th April even though she had a medical on the 8th April and still has not had the results of that ,apparently because her husband has signed on for Job Seekers they have moved her on to Job Seekers as well even though she is too sick to work and is twenty weeks pregnant . any advice please would be appreciated .

a 'couple' can only receive either Jobseekers Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance, it's not possible to receive both. Therefore, your daughters husband should have applied to be added onto your daughters ESA claim, not started his own claim for JSA.0
