Scotch bonnet/haberno chilli plant-will it grow in time to fruit??

Hello all....well as an experiment I took some fresh seeds out of a scotch bonnet/haberno type chilli bought at my local caribbean market & the seeds from a thai type green chilli from tescos!

Put seeds just under surface of moist compost on a windowsill & covered with cling film...well 3 1/2 weeks on the habernos have germinated (2 little seed leaves & about 3/4 inch high!)!

Given that I live 50o ft up in the pennines in w yorkshire...do you think there is ANY chance it'll grow enough to fruit? I do have a greenhouse (plastic 3/4 size one!) & will certainly be keeping them inside until say end of May. I know habernos take ages to grow fruit...any ideas anyone?

    According to Thomson and Morgan
Sow seeds March to early April. Sow seeds thinly on the surface of a good free draining compost. Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18-20C (64-68F) until after germination, which takes 7-14 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

I think you are probably ok even given your location. I did very well with Thai Dragon last year in SE Scotland in greenhouse with a pane of glass missing (i.e. it didn't get too hot). I've still got plenty in the freezer. Not sure when I planted but don't worry too much about when you planted yours as you were inside the range.
