legoland, help again please!

hi, ive booked a travel lodge to do legoland and chessington at the end of august. me my partner and 3year old.
i need to know the cheapest way to do the tickets.
i have £28 tesco vouchers to convert, but hope to get £40 by the time we go, legoland are £10each, chessington £9.50
i also have a bogof ticket from tesco, but says you cannot use on zoo days, so will use at legoland.
was wondering when you take your tesco converted ticket do you then recieve one of their tickets? as ive read somewhere about a second day return cheaper ticket, is that right?
legoland - was going to use bogof ticket for 1st day, ( will just get a child ticket from lastmin.com, then could i get him a second day return ticket?)and 2 tesco tickets for legoland the 2nd day.

then 1st day at chessington use 2 tesco tickets, then can i get second day return tickets with these? son goes free here.

is this the cheapest way of doing it, would be grateful if anyone knew a better way, and if anyone knows how much the second day tickets are, and if i can get them using tesco vouchers the first days??
thanks, sorry its a bit long winded but wanted to give all info x

can't really help with the tesco queries ... but we went to Legoland last week and i saw that you could go back the next day for £10 adult and £5 child....Isn't Legoland for children 3 and under....not sure i would take a tkt for your child... is he a big 3 yr old? Good luck and have fun....but be prepared for long queues....

When we went to Legoland and Chessington I saw signs up saying they were doing a second day ticket for cheaper. However I did not notice if this was a limited time offer or available all year. I would think your best bet is to ring both parks and see if they will be doing this in August and get prices. When we used 2 for 1 last year in Legoland we got 2 tickets, one with the full price on it and one with 0 price on it, so when we went to see about upgrade to yearly passes the entrance for one ticket would have been taken off the yearly pass amount, but the 0 ticket would have incurred the full pass amount. I know Tesco vouchers cannot be used with any other offers e.g. 2for1 etc, so I would imagine they would not be valid for the 2nd day cheaper entry price, but best to ring up and check with the Parks directly.

Zoo days tend to be Nov - Mar when the theme park is closed for the season so the BOGOF ticket can be used for August.

Tesco vouchers are great!! You must use your coupons of money say they sent you a £5.00, £2.50 and £20.00 voucher, you must register them online and convert them into the legoland tickets. Yes they do send them to you but during the summer and especially during peak season, it may take up to 3 weeks to get them so whatever you do - don't leave it to the last minute to get the tickets!!

I did this last year with Thorpe Park tickets and I ended up not getting them in time :S

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time!
