ESA payment not gone in

As the title says really, I'm in the support group but my payment hasn't gone in today.

Wondering what I do? Could it be because it's new financial year (my Dad suggested that), or can it sometimes just be late, or is this a problem and I need to get someone to contact the DWP for me?

Hoping it's nothing much, just would like some advice please :o

You could always phone up to put your mind at rest, When i partner was on JSA years ago her payment didn't go in and we had to go to DWP to pick up a giro.

    Hello,

This happened to my husband last summer and twice in a six weeks period too. He's also in the support group.

In my husband's case it turned out they had stopped his money because his application for DLA was going through even though it shouldn't really have any affect on ESA.

All we did was ring them up, they apologised and a couple of days latter the money went in the bank. Then they did the same thing four weeks later but again we just rang them and the money went in again a few days later. Touch wood but it hasn't happened since.
