O2 concert booking fees

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way of buying concert tickets for the O2 Arena without having to pay the booking and processing fees which for two tickets add up to around £10?

It used to be that you could go to the venue and just pay the cost of the tickets but called the O2 yesterday and they said they now charge the same booking fee there as if you booked over the phone or online.

Nearly 99.9% no.

Its all done through the booking agent. Even Print at home ETickets and box office collection have the 8-12% onto of face fees. Its pretty poor practice. Like a shop advertising a price and then adding VAT at the till!
