Hi im wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I have managed to track down the details of a policy from 2003 which covered our mortgage payments. The policy was sold through a mortgage broker who have now been struck off, i want to know who i complain to?
I think it may have to be the financial services compensation scheme, or would it be to the insurance provider (assurant)
Thanks
Andrew

If the mortgage broker was a member of a network then you can complain to the network. Otherwise you can complain to the FSCS.
In cases like this, the files are unlikely to be readily available. So, if was paid monthly and by direct debit from your current account and you were eligible then you would almost certainly be rejected as that is how it should be. If it was single premium then you have been mis-sold and it should be easy.thanks i was starting to panick there nearly 2 hours without a reply
