A few years back I had a big Golden Retriever and I was surprised that he could sit/stand comfortably in an Astra hatchback. The 'boot' floor actually seemed to be lower relative to the rest of the floor pan and that gave him plenty of headroom. Worth looking out for this kind of 'feature'.0
