From last week until today, I receive a call from 08001218141 everyday (either once or twice a day - once in the day time, and once at night). I didn't pick it up as I was at work, and at night my mobile phone is not with me, as I'm usually downstairs, and the phone is mobile is upstairs. If people call me at night, they usually call my landline, instead of mobile.
According to this website (http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/08001218141), it's from Barclays trying to sell financial products, while other people says it from other companies (refer to website).
I'm surprised that they didn't try to call my landline number, which is good, or else it would be annoying.
I hope they give up calling my mobile phone soon. I wonder why they haven't gave up yet.
Anyone been getting calls from that number?

I've been getting quite a few calls from this number. When I logged in to Barclays online banking I checked my profile and discovered that my marketing preferences were "Don't contact by...email" only even though I'm sure I'd ticked to prevent telephone and mobile/SMS contact, too, when I opened by account. It'll be interesting to see how quickly the calls stop now.0

i'll just tell them to f off like I do with all sales people. Simples.Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Ring up and check that it's not the fraud team trying to contact you about your debit card. While you're on the phone ask them to remove you from marketing calls.0
