  • hiya,

i got a code from hotdealsuk.com for 25% off at centerparcs in june/july works in all parcs. PPBC07.

i booked at eleveden for the 1st week in july and saved nearly £80.

Hope that someone else will find this useful.
  • i was looking into a break a centerparcs. Do you have to pay extra for the activities? If so does anyone know where i can look to find prices?

    Thanks

    Hi All

Never been to Center Parcs before, which one would you sugguest?

    Thanks

I've been to all, most several times, and have 3 kids 5 - 10,
Elvedon is probably the best, the accomodation at the former Oasis (penrith)
is possibly the best for accom, sherwood is fine, longleat is very spread out and you have to be careful where you stay, for example I am about to spend an extra £100 + for a midweek break, just to be located near the pool, since the far side is a long long way away.

Essentially, they are a fairly good quality, intensive (sporty) break, but the daily expense is quite high. Eating out varies, and its worth looking out for and pre booking 'deals' such as buffets at the chinese and indian at oasis if they still do them.

Otherwise it is worth asking if flumes will be open, we have had several holidays affected by 'routine' maintenance - which was dissapointing at the time. I would recommend the halk walk at penrith, my daughters were facinated by having a falcon land on them!

The other 'insider' tip is to arrive early! We get there for 9.30 if possible, and are in the pool by 11. Changeover days are the quietest in the pool, but you need to pack your kit seperately, since you don't get to your villa till 3ish.
We do early arrival, early lunch and swim, and the kids and wife walk to the villa whilst I get the car - a full day - rather than a half day - repeat on the last day in reverse, whilst everyone beats an early retreat!

    Hope this helps,
at the end of the day, travel time might be the deciding factor, as will the age and makup of your family.

    Hello, Nicolajac

I've just checked my emails and, lo & behold, a link to discounts! Isn't life good? :D

    http://www.centerparcs.co.uk/prices_booking/specialoffers/febandmaroffers.jsp

Basically, the code is: CPWEB, but you have to book online for this to work. It's worked for me in the past, best of luck

    DG

"To check latest availability Book Online where you will be prompted for the promotional CPWEB code."
If you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!! :D
  • Thank you very much for your fast response. I've kept trying this code but can't get it to work. Phoned Center Parcs and they said this code doesn't work for April or May online bookings! Thanks anyway:smiley:
