I was thinking of going to centreparcs, but I would have to travel from northern ireland. Does anyone know if any of the parks are near an airport?

Sherwood Forest CP is about 1 hour 10 minutes from east midlands airport.

Hi all, I used VL14 for 10th March 2008 at Winfield and got 30% off :j . This was working for quite a few dates but not school hols.

I also tried these and got the following discounts
    MP126 - 15%
    BAR11- 10%
    PPBC07 - 10%
    PPPZ - 10%
    FAMILY - 15%

    Hope this helps someone.
  • Does anyone know if you have to prove your child is under 5 to use the family code? Thanks
  • well you have to give dates of births for all of your party when you have to do your pre-registration form.We are going in dec when our child will be 2 but booked last year when he was 1 and thought we could get a way with a 1 bed villa ( less money) but after the age of 2 they are classed as needing a bed so they wouldn't let us have a 1 bed and we had to book a 2 bed at a higher price. I guess it's up to you if you want to risk making up a date of birth, i bet someone has done it before.

I've not used the family code but I have noticed that sometimes when you go in they look at each person in the car and at the booking. I'm guessing to check that you have booked in the correct number and people.

They wouldn't ask for proof unless the child is obviously older than 5. How much older are we talking here?

  • Quite a bit! Think its more suitable for my husband who is in his late 40's to pass as 55. He is most put out doesn't think its at all funny. All the 3 bed comfort and comfort+ have gone for the week we want so I'm trying to bring the cost down a bit for the 4 bed or exec lodges
