Made bank charges claim last year, now suffering hardship, can I now reclaim?

Hello,
I sent a claim letter to Natwest about 18 months ago trying to claim £1200 for charges over the prior six years. They sent me a letter stating they were waiting for the court ruling. After the court ruling I didn't here anything back from Natwest and then moved house but forgot to inform them of my new address so not sure if they contacted me .
I've just noticed the new templates for amending claims if suffering financial hardship. Last month I lost my job and I'm now suffering financial problems. Even though this hardship didn't occur at the time of my charges can I still try to claim them back due to my circumstances now or would the bank possibly say this is irrelevant as the charges didn't cause me hardship at the time they occured?
Thanks
Mark

I would say they will argue that the charges did not worsen your financial hardship since you were no longer using the account where the charges came from at the point you were in hardship.0
