I want 0% on purchases but..

...I was declined last month for one of the charity cards, think it was run by Bank of Scotland or Royal Bank of Scotland. I want it purely for purchases as I don't want to spend on my current card as it has BTs only on it and don't want to confuse that and be paying mixed interest rates.

What should I apply for? I had a Sainsburys card until February but closed the account, can I apply again for this or will they decline me?

Thanks for any help.

They could probably reopen your old card for you, although they wouldn;t give you any promotional rates etc. There are plenty of other cards out there although not sure which are best. Virgin do 12 months interest free on purchases, don;t know if they're any good or not. Virgin are issued by MBNA
  • Post Office do 0% on purchases and bt's at the moment.
Not that I work for them, you understand......
