Which survey

Hi, I was wondering whether anyone had any advice. I'm unsure which survey to get on a house I'm trying to buy. Points on the house.
It is fairly new (first and only sold 2003) so still in end of any potential warranty.
It was not built by a major builder (local one)
It was built on land sold by it's neighbouring house (though ownership has changed since then)
It is close to a railway line and on a non adopted road.
The mortgage co have done their own valuation but I was wondering about whether to do a full structural survey?
All thoughts appreciated

Only you can decide whether you have enough confidence in yourself to spot any problems and/or enough confidence in the type/style/age of property to not have any problems.0

Hmm. it's tricky. I don't have confidence in my ability to spot problems, esp in such a new house.
We have lived previously in much older properties and I have always paid for a home buyers survey. Based on their age they will outlast me, it's just the newness of this one that really scares me.
Is a homebuyers worth it or if we feel we need a survey will only the full one do?0
