On a DMP, can I still claim???

I'm currently on a DMP and one of my accounts is an overdraft account that I owe approximately 1.5k on. Now I know this whole process will take a long time to sort out, however I would like to get this one cleared up asap as it is relatively small amount, and it's one less thing to worry about.
Now my question is, am I in any kind of position to reclaim the various bank charges that I have incurred over the last 6 years or so on this account as these amount to approximately £600. I ask this as I have 5 outstanding debts that I am currently paying off, and clearing this one would be a small but significant step in the right direction.
Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated

Have you made a claim under hardship with the bank? If you're in financial hardship they will look at ways to assist you, but this will not necessarily involve paying you back all your charges.Getting married 02.08.14

No I've not made a claim as of yet, however my DMP company have said that I am on a hardship case, however I feel that I'll be waiting forever and a day for them to help me with this. I'm also banking with someone else now so I'm not sure if that will affect things in any way0
