Computer sometimes won't shut down

Tried loads of stuff to fix the problem now and (touch wood) it seems to be shutting down OK now. If it is fixed, I'll have no idea why though.:rolleyes:

Pat : I've not installed anything recently, so don't think the problem could have been be due to this.

Yorkshire Boy : Interesting one this ... not one you'd normally think about, so thanks.

Cymraeg : This is one of the many things I tried originally before the problem appeared to go away.
